Day Skipper

You took your first step into sea life in your previous training. Your presence here indicates that the course has fulfilled its purpose and that you have experienced the unique joy of sailing, much like us. In this training, you will reinforce the information you received previously, review all theoretical knowledge, and, most importantly, delve into Navigation and Meteorology, which are crucial aspects of our lives. Of course, we do not forget to practice mooring and docking :)

Content:

After this week, you can skipper a yacht in familiar waters.

Preparations for the sea and bad weather
Navigation
Rules of the road (COLREGs')
GPS and VHF (Basic training)
Engine
Basics of maintaining of an engine and easy fixs
Mooring, docking, and undocking
Man over board (MOB) with engine and with sails
Liferaft and emergency equipment
Repeat of Competent Crew course

- Course duration: 5 days
- Accommodation (6 nights)

Our boats have 3 or 4 double cabins and single beds in the lounge.

*At the end of the course, if you pass the exam, you will earn the TYF YY2 Certificate.
